Beaten Egg cube curry

Beaten Egg curry:

Normally we make Egg curry with boiled eggs or  Eggs directly in to boiling Gravy, This is different from both and never  gives any stinky smell after meal.This observes gravy and gives complete taste of spices and salt added in gravy .

Ingredients making Egg cubes:

Egg-3 nos gives 9 to 12 cubes

Onion shalots-6 chopped finely

Capsicum-3 tsp chopped

Coriander 3 tsp chopped

Basin flour-3 tsp this added to give firmness to egg

Salt-1 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp

Preparation:

Grease wide pan with 1 tsp of oil keep aside.

Beat egg with all given Ingredients above mix well .

Now pour it in greased pan , boil water in another pan place this and steam cook for 4-5 minutes.

Allow it to cool and cut in to cubical shape or desired, remove and keep aside.DSC08040

Ingredients for Gravy:

Onion -1 chopped

Garlic 5 pods chopped

Tomato – small chopped

Curry leaves-1 twig

Sambar masala -3 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Tamarind extract gooseberry sized tamarind.

Oil-2 tbsp

To grind :

1 1/2 tbsp of coconut

Cumin seeds-1 tsp

Badam-4 nos

Tomato -1 small

Grind in to smooth paste

Method to prepare:

Heat pan with 2 tbsp of oil season with Fennel seeds, Cumin seeds  and Methi seeds few when it splatters add Curry leaves

Then chopped onion and Garlic saute well now add tomato and Salt cook until it becomes mushy.

Add Turmeric powder , Sambar powder, and Tamarind juice  add 3 cups of water allow it to boil for 3 minutes now add ground paste and boil for more 3 minutes.

 

Yes!! now time to add Beaten egg cubes add it and allow  another 2 minutes  to observe in medium flame,G  ready to serve with plain rice or with fried rice.
