Lady Finger has been a part of Indian diet since ages. Its rich fiber content mainly contributes to the benefits of lady finger. Dietary fiber ( 9 % ), folate , pyridoxine , thiamine, Vit C, Vit A, Vit K,copper, calcium , potassium , iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc and phosphorus.Eat healthy food and live long.
Lady’s Finger-1/4 kg cut in to 1/4 inch size( approximately )
Onion-1no cut in to small pieces
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves 1 twig
Method to prepare:
Wash and dry lady finger in paper towel or clean white cloth.
Cut in to small pieces as mentioned above.
Heat kadai with 1 tbsp of oil and season with the mentioned ingredients.
In low flame add chopped onion saute for a while then add cut Lady’s finger and saute until it looses its sticky nature.
Simmer the stove add Salt and Chilli powder saute for 5 more minutes.
Serve with chappathi or hot white rice and sambar.
