Instant Curry leaves Rasam

Instant Rasam,

when you are in a hurry and hungry, try this you will feel that you are so blessed with this aromatic simple rasam with the combination of omelet. Just a few minutes and ingredients are required to make this.

Ingredients to coarse grind:

Tomato -1 medium

Peppercorns-1tsp

Cumin seeds-1tsp

Garlic- 3 pods

Curry leaves few

Rasam powder 1tsp (optional)

Tamarind juice- 1tbsp or Lemon

Salt- 1 tsp

For seasoning :

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Asafoetida-2 pinch

Dry red chili-2 nos

Coriander leaves chopped1 tbsp

Method to prepare:

Coarse Grind Tomato, peppercorns, Cumin seeds, and Garlic pods.

OR

Make a puree of Tomato, and pond the other ingredients.

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a Kadai season with Mustard seeds, dry red chili let it splutter.

Add the coarse grind ingredients, a pinch of Asafoetida, Rasam powder, Salt, Tamarind extract and 2 cups of water in it, let it boil for 2 minutes not more than that.

Add coriander leaves and serve with plain rice and a combination of omelet.

OR

Simple method:

Heat pan with one tsp oil season with mustard and curry leaves.

Coarse Grind all other ingredients, add salt and tamarind extract. Mix in 2cups of water. Pour this mixture in the kadai allow it to boil for3 minutes, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and transfer to serving bowl.
